Misc places in England I like:

Jovik Viking Centre (York) - good fun.

Alton Towers (Stoke-On-Trent) - amusement park and gardens. Both are pretty good.

Blackpool (Tower and Pleasure Beach) - good fun, but bring plenty of money - you’ll need it. The Pleasure Beach can get very expensive.

Syon House - very nice and relaxing, but also fascinating. The residence of the Duke of Northumberland.
